The proliferation of commercial punting makes for a congested bumper car like experience, and you will definitely feel touristy. Also, the guides are mostly NOT Cambridge University students — they are prohibited from having jobs during school term. We had fun, but it was a cattle-call type tourist attraction. And the viator pass pre-purchase slowed down our access to the attraction as the vendor had to work through third party protocols. The walk up customers were handled with higher priority.”
